The Bespoke Experience

JN JEWELLERY

THE BESPOKE EXPERIENCE

One story. One client. One piece.

We turn an idea into jewellery that could only belong to one person. Scroll the making of it, then the pieces, then the stories behind two of them.

HOW A PIECE IS MADE

Jewellery made for one person, and no one else

Bespoke here is a collaboration. The design can be revised until it is right. You see it digitally, then hold a prototype, then watch skilled hands make the final piece.

Six stages carry it from the first conversation to delivery. Each one is yours to follow.

STEP 01

Consultation

A cherished piece holds a memory, a feeling, a person. Every commission starts there. Bring a family heirloom, a photograph, a sketch, something you already own, or simply an idea.

  • Your story, in your words
  • References, sketches or an heirloom
  • A clear brief before anything is drawn

STEP 02

Design

The idea becomes a design you can judge. Proportions, metal and stones are reworked until your client says it is right. Revisions stay open until that moment.

  • Detailed views of the piece
  • Unlimited revisions
  • Scale and balance agreed before making

STEP 03

CAD approval

A precise digital model lets you walk around the piece before it exists. 360° views and a virtual try-on show how it sits, so approval is confident rather than hopeful.

  • High-fidelity digital model
  • 360° review
  • Virtual try-on before the workshop

STEP 04

Prototype

Seeing it is only half of it. A physical prototype is the moment you hold the weight, the fit and the presence, and decide it is ready to be made for good.

  • A piece you can hold
  • Fit and weight checked
  • The last change before crafting

STEP 05

Manufacturing

From here the work is in skilled hands. Stones are sourced, metal is cast, diamonds are set and the surface is finished until it matches the design you approved.

  • Stone sourcing
  • Casting and setting
  • Hand finishing and a final check

STEP 06

Delivery

The piece arrives with the story of how it was made. Your client has been part of it from the first conversation, not only at the handover.

  • Progress you can follow
  • A record of the making
  • The finished piece, and its story

Before and after

The same idea, two moments. First in the hand as a prototype. Then as a finished piece from the collection.

TWO COMMISSIONS

Not a catalogue. A drawing, and a ring that had to be made again.

The lion ring

01 — THE LION

“I drew the lion I loved. You made the drawing into a ring.”

She came back from South Africa with a photograph, then a sketch of the face she wanted. Full on. Present. Not a lion from a tray.

Yellow gold, carved by hand. Pear emeralds for the eyes. Round diamonds tracing the mane. The model was agreed before any metal was cast.

02 — MADE AGAIN, EXACTLY

“They still think it is the one they bought me.”

Her in-laws had bought her the ring. She lost it, and she did not want them to know. The brief left no room to improve it. Same heart. Same twist. Same line of diamonds.

Photographs of the original were rebuilt until the new ring could pass for the gift. That was the whole point.
